As our Area51 F&B/ Parties Manager, you will be responsible for managing our flagship café from conception to opening, and champion our party venue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management/ F&B/ Markets/ Café/ Hospitality management, with exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving success.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Operations Manager on all Food and Beverage business and strategic issues as they arise; provide strategic recommendations to the Operations Manager based on market analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
- Champion Health and safety/ Adhere to safe food handling.
- Café operations/ menu: conception to execution
- Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team and oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with Area51s' strategic plan.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined workflows.
- Cultivate relationships and maintain open communication channels with management, stakeholders and the public as required.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure all Events/Parties are tailored to meet individual customer expectations, preferences, and requirements. Interact with suppliers/ customers to understand their needs and ensure an exceptional experience.
- GX replies for all Café/Party issues
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain systematic processes to adhere to required standards.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, entertainers, and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials, decorations, and resources.
- Innovation and Creativity: Keep a pulse on industry trends, and customer feedback to consistently innovate and refresh the Café/ Party offerings.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on the success of new Cafe/Party concepts, customer feedback, and departmental performance. Use insights to refine strategies and future plans.
Experience and Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- RSA/ RMLV (highly desired)
- Food Safety Supervisor (highly desired)
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, process improvement, and team management.
- Strong creative thinking and innovation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and coordination.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using software for project management and reporting
- Familiarity with child safety regulations and guidelines.
In addition to the attributes mentioned above, to be considered for this role you will need:
- Full Right to work in Australia
- Current Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate, or ability to obtain
