Located on the magnificent finger wharf in Woolloomooloo, Manta has been serving locals, internationals and who’s who for almost 2 decades. At Manta you will be spoiled on the best of seafood straight from its own Co-op in Port Stephens. The menu is delicately designed by our very talented kitchen team, led by Henry Eastwood….It can’t get any fresher.
Sip, relax and watch the world goes past while browsing through our extensive menu and wine list. The menu caters for all taste. Come for nice piece of freshly caught fish or indulge on a magnificent seafood platter filled with oysters, lobsters and raw fish.
At Manta we believe in staff culture, exceptional and warm service. Therefore, we are looking for a Sommelier to assist the head sommelier in managing a magnificent 900 wines list, extensive selection by the glass and everything a sommelier can dream of.
We are looking for someone with WSET level 2/3. You will be in assisting in ordering, service, training and of course a lot of tasting.
Training will be a massive part of your job and we want you to share your love with the team.
Manta is a fast past venue and you will certainly enjoy the quality of the list you will be taking over.
We need someone with personality, passion and smile to assist the freshly appointed venue manager.
We aim to provide a consistent roster and you will be rewarded with amazing tips, incredible staff meal (so delicious) but also get to watch the most beautiful sunset every night. What’s not to love !!!
