We are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of customer service, managing the day-to-day operations, and assisting the Restaurant Manager in achieving business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff management, training, and development.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by leading by example and providing guidance to the team.
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverages served, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery to customers.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure optimum levels are maintained.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers and enhance customer loyalty.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment for both staff and customers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition, making recommendations to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and staff.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including ordering, stock control, and cost management.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
