About Peli's:
Peli's brings a grounded and authentic dining experience to the Sunshine Coast. After opening Sum Yung Guys in 2017, this much anticipated second venture is set to open in September, where a successful candidate will be part of the pre-opening team. At Peli's guests will revel in refined elegance, taste the flavours of the nearby sea and enjoy breathtaking views over the waterfront.
Peli's is also home to a 400-bin, temperature-controlled cellar of fine wine. The spotlight will fall on Australian classics both near and afar. In addition, we celebrate the classically made, lesser-known varieties from around the world, just as worthy of our diners’ consideration.

About the Role:
At Pelicano the role of our Head Bartender will oversee the entire beverage program. With sole curation behind the cocktail list as well as bar philosophy. This role will also work side by side with the restaurant manager on the wine list. Initially the role will be CASUAL, with option for review in 6 months time for FULL TIME.
Desired Requirements and Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years in a similar role (BAR experience mandatory)
- Management Skills: Strong leadership, motivational and people skills. Work to build positive and commercially advantageous relationships with both vendors and clients.
