We are seeking a full-time Venue and Taproom Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Range Brewing, working from Wednesday to Sunday. This newly created role combines responsibilities from both our Taproom and our wedding and events venue, The Bethnal. The ideal candidate will be a confident host, adept at managing various events, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the daily running of the Range Brewing Taproom & Events Venue
-Execute and deliver events at The Bethnal, including weddings, corporate parties, engagements, and private birthday events.
-Serve as the main point of contact during events, ensuring seamless execution.
-Supervise taproom staff, and handle onboarding, and ongoing training.
-Manage inventory, stock control, and reordering for both venues.
-Coordinate with internal staff and catering partners during events.
-Maintain high standards of venue upkeep, including taproom maintenance and line cleaning.
-Strengthen relationships with guests to create memorable moments and enable future bookings.
-Follow opening and closing procedures for events and daily operations.
-Provide feedback to the events coordinator and venue manager.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
-Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
-Excellent customer service skills both face-to-face and over the phone.
-Ability to use initiative and manage workloads effectively.
-Excellent organisational and time management skills.
-Knowledge of POS and hospitality systems.
-Fluent in written and spoken English; able to write articulately and succinctly.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
-Physical capability to stand for extended periods and move/lift kegs, boxes, and furniture.
-Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
