The Role: We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our passionate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. This role demands a leader with the ability to foster a positive work environment while driving business success.
Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Mermaid Beach, QLD
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and manage all staff activities to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Manage big functions such as birthday parties, Christmas parties, and other significant events, ensuring they are executed flawlessly.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
- Monitoring and achieving KPIs, maintaining cost and labour controls, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Promote and market the restaurant, especially during events and promotions.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain the restaurant’s reputation.
- Manage our reservation system, respond promptly to email inquiries using Microsoft Outlook, and ensure effective communication with customers.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience managing a restaurant, including handling functions such as parties and large events.
- Previous experience with cocktail service and an extensive knowledge of wines and tequila.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and experience managing email-based reservation systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Availability to workdays, nights, and weekends
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
