Your Role: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to elevate guest experiences? As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating memorable moments for every guest. You’ll lead a talented team, optimise operations, and ensure Lambert’s remains the benchmark for exceptional dining in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Deliver seamless dining experiences that leave guests surprised and delighted.

  • Anticipate guest needs and personalise service to create lasting memories.

  • Build relationships with regular guests by recognising preferences and tailoring experiences.

  • Analyse guest feedback to continuously innovate and improve service delivery.

Team Leadership

  • Inspire, coach, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service with passion and authenticity.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance skills in guest engagement and product knowledge.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration where team members feel empowered to innovate and excel.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service execution across all shifts.

  • Collaborate with kitchen management to maintain food and beverage quality standards.

  • Optimise reservation systems and seating arrangements for maximum guest satisfaction.

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through strategic upselling and promotional activities.

  • Collaborate on menu development based on guest preferences and market trends.

  • Participate in marketing initiatives and special events to showcase Lambert’s offerings.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in a premium restaurant environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage authentically with guests and team members alike.

  • Strong problem-solving skills paired with creativity to enhance guest satisfaction.

  • Experience using restaurant management systems or digital tools.

Desirable Qualities

  • Formal qualifications in Hospitality Management or related fields are a plus!

  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and contemporary food trends is highly desirable.
