This role is an integral part of a small team. You will be a team player with good communication and computer skills, be able to manage relationships on all levels.
The job would suit an enthusiastic individual already well established in the wine and beverage industry with knowledge of wine tastings/events and an interest in wholesale and cellar door sales channels
Key Responsibilities: To be passionate about all aspects of marketing and selling Indigo Wines and take responsibility for all aspects of sales and marketing in conjunction with our CEO Rob Hawkings. You will also be involved in the final blending of wines.
Essential requirements
- a strong knowledge of wine and the cellar door and events business
- an awareness and understanding of marketing
- ability to trouble shoot/problem solve and react quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
- ability to manage cellar door staff and operations
You will lead from the front to deliver a cellar door tasting programme that gets Indigo talked about as “Must Do” when visiting Beechworth. It is assumed that the role will involve hands on cellar door work. The role includes developing on site events which the small team is capable of delivering, training and managing the cellar door team & rosters
Regional Wholesale tasks include; servicing of existing accounts, managing sales visits and developing new business within existing channels
You will work with our Distributors and Sales Agents with regular communications and reporting and identify and agree target accounts and strategy to win them
