Job Requirements
This role involves working directly with the Head of Winemaking & Viticulture, Ben Mullen, and coordinating all aspects of cellar operations for Mulline and its group companies. We seek a candidate with demonstrated experience in cellar / winemaking roles who is interested in taking the next step in their career.
As Assistant Winemaker, you will coordinate, monitor and deliver the weekly cellar work plan. You will assist with all components of harvest including laboratory and involvement in Mulline’s vineyards. You will assist coordinating wine production from fruit through to bottling and have the opportunity to assist with vineyard management and sales/events, based on business needs.
Please note - this role is only open to candidates currently residing in Australia with full working rights.
Minimum Qualifications
• Tertiary education in Viticulture and Oenology (or similar). Final year students will be considered
• Previous winery / cellar work experience
• Australian driver’s licence
• Victorian Licence to perform High Risk Work (forklift)
