As our Assistant Restauarant Manager, you will be responsible for setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the guest experience, the workplace culture and the financial performance!
- Hire, train, develop and drive the team to deliver a positive and memorable customer guest experience
- Deliver the best quality, fresh, and local ingredients to our guests and community!

Your Responsibilities
This diverse role involves a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Efficiently leading the restaurant team in day-to-day operations
- Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Oporto values and culture
- Ensuring high-quality food is served and exceptional customer service is maintained at all times
- Listening to customer feedback and working to ensure positive customer experiences
- Training, developing and cross-training all team members, shift leaders and assistant managers
- Management of team members including rostering, shift changes and team meetings
- Managing P&L performance, guest metrics, inventory results, labour control, and many other KPIs!
- Executing marketing promotions and creating community-driven local marketing activities
- Ensuring the safety of our people & guests!
