What do you do?

• Lead the culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations
• Develop and design innovative menus with traditional Italian cuisine and contemporary flair
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
• Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager for a cohesive dining experience
• Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations
• Address customer feedback and continuously improve offerings
• Prepare operational reports and manage staff rostering

What do you need?

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in fine dining
• Pre-opening experience ideal, but not essential
• Strong leadership & management skills
• Passion for Italian cuisine and culinary creativity
• Solid financial management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of current hospitality trends and kitchen management software
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
