Our client is seeking a restaurant manager to work on a permanent full-time basis at an upmarket hotel in Muswellbrook, NSW.
As a restaurant manager, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating front and back of the house restaurant and function operations,
- Engaging with customers regarding concerns, complaints and other queries in a professional manner,
- Regularly reviewing product quality and standards,
- Ensuring that company policies, procedures and values are met by all employees,
- Organising and allocating shifts appropriately for employees,
- Appraising employee performance and providing constructive feedback where necessary to improve workplace productivity,
- Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations,
- Promoting the hotel/restaurant name and brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events,
- Maintaining operational costs and expenses &
- Liaising with the owners, head-chef and other stakeholders.
To be successful for this role, you will:
- Minimum three years in hospitality management.
- Have a strong understanding of food & beverage and function aspects,
- Have previous restaurant management experience (or in a similar field such as a catering operation),
- Have relevant qualifications in management skills (qualifications in hospitality management, marketing, or event management will be highly regarded) or equivalent experience,
- Have a strong focus on effective and efficient customer service,
- Be punctual, a strong leader, and an organised individual,
- Be able and willing to work effectively as a team to achieve goals &
- Have access to reliable transport.
